Life is but a walking shadow,
a poor player that struts and frets
his hour upon the stage and then is heard
no more.
It is a tale told by an idiot,
full of sound and fury signifying nothing.
--MacBeth, William Shakespeare, Act V Scence V

The stage was always my escape from life; on stage I could be whoever I wished and forget, for a time, who I really was. RogueBecoming someone else, if only for a short time, has quite a replenishing affect, and everyone needs to get away once in a while, even from themselves. It truly helped me survive high school. For many reasons, (but primarily due to several knee injuries), I retired from my 15 year career in the performing arts when I graduated high school; I miss it, but my memories are fond, and it was just time to move on. I've left this page up as a reminder to my past, and for anyone bored enough to read it. The pages are more or less as they were back when I was a teenager. I also still love circus acts; they combine the grace of dance with the strength of rock climbing and add a twist of zest that is definitely the greatest of all possible highs. Circus is something I will never outgrow. I have performed and taught Spanish Web and have also received some basic training on the single, double, and flying trapeze, chord lisse, and lyra. One day, equipment such as these will grace my backyard. No clue what I'm talking about? Just click on the circus link up top; that should straighten you out just fine...or contort you in a way you never thought possible ;). The Limelight link outlines my 15 year performance career
